Michael K. McCooe , 46, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 in Easton, PA. Born in Somerville, he resided in Bridgewater, NJ and Tannersville, PA before moving to Easton, PA three years ago. He attended Bridgewater-Raritan East High School and graduated in 1980. After high school, he worked with his brother in construction until he pursued a career at AT&T; Support Services. He worked hard to promote his personal success in a high pressure company. Michael struggled with Juvenile Diabetes, but, when he came into your presence, he had the ability to bring a smile and laughter to all. Michael had many friends and diverse interests. He loved the Yankees, Miami Dolphins and playing computer games. He is survived by his supportive and loving parents, his mother, Maryann McCooe, of Easton, PA, who was his supporter, his rock and will be her loving son forever; his father, James E. McCooe, and companion, June Cheek, of Flemington, NJ; his dear brothers, Mark J., and wife, Suzie, of Bridgewater, NJ, James T., and wife, LuAnn of Easton, PA, Ryan, of Flemington, NJ and Cody of Bethlehem, PA; his dear sister and best friend, Donna Mulvihill, and companion, Richard Bross, of Mansfield, NJ; eight nieces and nephews, Matthew, Sean, Meghan, Jimmy and Stephanie McCooe, Ryan, Shannon and Brianna Mulvihill; and his special dog, Toshu. Mikey was a caring and compassionate son, brother and uncle. His easy smile and life loving presence will be forever missed by all who were blessed to know him. Funeral services will begin at 9:45 AM on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, 551 Route 28, Bridgewater. Viewing hours will be Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
