Obituary

Michael K. Flynn Branchburg, NJ Michael Kennedy Flynn, 55, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 22, 2022. Born in Atlanta, GA, a southern boy to the core, Michael ultimately found his true love his bashert and planted his roots in New Jersey. Michael was a devoted husband and father. Without a doubt, his family was the center of his universe and his pride and joy. He was an avid sports fan, and while he enjoyed the professionals, his true passion for sports came from watching his three children thrive on and off the field. His quick wit and larger than life personality made him someone that everyone wanted to be around. Michael also enjoyed music and never missed an opportunity to see a live show big or small. He loved entertaining with family and friends to share his baked goods, matzah balls, slow cooked barbeque or his award-winning chili all made with his secret ingredient…an extra dash of love. A craftsman to the core, Michael had hands of gold and loved to build and fix anything and everything. He is preceded by his mother Linda Hill Atkinson, his step father, Tom Atkinson Jr., his step brother, Tom Atkinson III, and his mother-in-law Ina Weinstein. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Robyne Weinstein Flynn, his two dear sons, Ethan and Jake; his loving daughter, Aubrey; his brother Brian Flynn and his wife Nicole Flynn; his step-sister Shara Atkinson; his sister-in-law Tara Weinstein Brown and her husband Scott Brown; sister-in-law Alana Weinstein Hyman and her husband Brett Hyman; his father-in-law, Sheldon Weinstein; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. "He never met a stranger. Every person in the world, to him, was just a friend he hadn't met yet." A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.
