Mei E. Chen Branchburg, NJ Mei Chen, 49, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Taiwan, Mei resided in south Bound Brook for 12 years before moving to Branchburg7 years ago. Mei graduated from East Brunswick High School, Class of 1990. She then went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Kean University. Mei was a member of the Rutgers Community Christian Church. She loved singing Karaoke, travel around the world, exercising and weightlifting. The one thing Mei enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her two sons. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. Surviving are her parents, Kam Hua and Su-Tsun Jung, her loving husband of 21 years, JJ Chen, her two dear sons, Justin and Jayden Chen of Branchburg, NJ; and one brother, Philip and wife Regine Jung of Manhattan, NY. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 10am-12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 12pm. Committal is private.
