Masako Matsukawa

Masako Matsukawa, 79, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Okayama Japan, Masako moved to New York City in 1967, before moving to Branchburg New Jersey in 1985.

Masako worked for over 30 years at Miya Company, while also raising her family.

Masako enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Harushige Matsukawa, her daughter, June and husband Jeff McConnell; her son, Bob and wife Heidi Moon, sister Yukiko, brother Ichiro; five cherished grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Stella, Lois, Yohji, Mika, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, Aug 13, 2023 from 1-3pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
