Mary Pernini Sundstrom Ticket Sales Clerk Raritan Mary Pernini Sundstrom 89 died Friday (December 3, 2004) at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida. Born in Somerville, she resided in Raritan most of her life. A former resident of Seaside Heights, N.J. for 25 years, she moved to Gainesville, Florida three years ago. Mary was a Lab Technician with American Cyanamid Corporation of Bound Brook for 25 years. While residing in Seaside Heights, Mary worked as a "Blue Bird", (a Ticket Sales Clerk on the boardwalk) for 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Gainesville, Florida. . Mary was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seaside Heights Fire Company and Rescue Squad and the Italian-American Club in Seaside Heights. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years John Pernini in 1960, her second husband of 23 years Fred Sundstrom in 1994 and her son Robert Pernini in 1994. Surviving are hear loving son Richard Pernini and wife Kathy of Gainesville, Florida, her loving daughter Beverly Gardner of Branchburg, N.J., her dear daughter-in-law Diane Pernini of Branchburg, her dear brothers Thomas(Tommy)Andreola and sister-in-law Josephine of Port Charlotte, Fl. and Louis(Lou) of Milltown, N.J., her dear sister Rose Marie Fallon and brother-in-law Joseph of Manville, N.J., her fourteen cherished grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Funeral services will begin 9:45 A.M. Friday at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Highway 202 south, Branchburg, N.J. 08876 followed by a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Liturgy at St. Anns R.C. Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, N.J. Visitation Hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater.
