Obituary

Mary E. Standish Group Leader Bridgewater Mary E. Evans Standish 90 died Saturday March 20, 2004 at the Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. Born in Scranton, Pa. she formerly resided in Whitehouse before moving to Bridgewater 59 years ago. She was a Group Leader with the R.C.A. Corporation in Bridgewater for 12 years before retiring in 1963. Mary was a member of the Bradley Gardens Reformed Church of Bridgewater and a member of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton H. Standish in 1977, her daughters Arlene Mundy and Mary Hartman and a son Fred S. Standish. Surviving are her loving sons Clayton F. Standish of Bridgewater and John C. Standish of Frenchtown, her brother Raymond Evans of Wimmers, Pa., sisters Rhea Beauman of Branchburg and Janet Beafeld of East Millstone, 15 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Highway 202 south, Branchburg, N.J. with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, East Millstone, N.J. Visitation hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home'. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Bradley Gardens Reformed Church 124 Old York Road, Bridgewater, N.J. 08807.
