Mary S.
Sibilia
Oct 17, 1941 — Jun 14, 2024
Mary Stuart Sibilia, 82, aka "Memom" by all that knew her well and adored grandchildren, had one dream-to be a mother. Married to her one and only love of her life, James, whom she met at Shoprite, they were married for 56 years. Her dreams were fulfilled as a phenomenal mother to her four children-James (Grace), Matthew (Cynthia), Andrew (Heather), and Peter (Nilza). A life of adventures started with her mom and dad, Wilhelmina and Squire Johnson and her four siblings Butch, Anne Delin (Roger), Fran Rittman (Robert), and James (Cindy).
If you stopped by and were looking for "Memom" she could be found out in the garden, or in her beloved greenhouse humming to herself and planting amongst the flamingos and the gnomes or by the pond feeding her fish. She also loved to make holidays special, by being surrounded by her family and carried on traditions of baking, especially, her world-famous chocolate chippers. Memom, "the Spoiler", enjoyed being a part in all her grandchildren's lives and claimed that they were the "icing on her cake". If she wasn't at Samantha's dance recital, she was at one of Riley, Sydney, or Hunter's sporting events, Abigail's musicals, Mackenzie's softball games, or spending time with Owen and Azlin.
When she wasn't busy taking care of everyone else, she loved going to Wind Creek to hear the "ding-ding-ding" of the slot machine or hanging out with the Thelma to her Louise, Mary Pirres. Her Time to Eat Diner trips were epic where the number two was her staple with a glass of orange juice and a side of Rye toast.
Memom truly was one of a kind and kept everyone on their toes with her funny stories and catchy quips, "What's shaking bacon?" and "Your dime, my time." She was hip to the times and loved keeping up with the Masked Singer and her Dodgers. "Girlfriend", you will be missed, until next time.
Funeral services for Mary will be private.
