Mary Maggi, 90, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at RWJ Somerville. Born in Malta, Mary resided in Brooklyn, NY for 15 years, Bridgewater for 10 years and finally residing in Branchburg 20 years ago. Mary loved cooking, sewing, knitting and making her own clothes. One thing Mary enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Theresa and Francis Azzoppardi, her loving husband of 59 years, Antonio Maggi (2012), two brothers Lawrence and Paul Azzoppardi, and one son Charles Maggi. Surviving are her loving daughter, Mary Rose and husband Jim Ferone of Bridgewater, NJ; one sister, Carmen Brooker of London, England; two adored grandchildren, Annette and husband Matthew and James and three cherished great grandchildren, Kayla, Isabella, and Matthew and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 2-6pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 9:15am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. A funeral mass will follow at 10am at St Bernard's R.C. Church. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL Memphis, TN 38105.
