Mary "Ruth" Johnson Branchburg, NJ Mary "Ruth" Johnson, 102, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home in Branchburg on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Born in Newark, Mary lived in Roselle for 37 years before moving to Branchburg, where she lived for the last 65 years. She was active in the Branchburg senior citizens community and enjoyed taking trips with them, especially to Atlantic City. She was also an active member of her parish, Holy Trinity RC Church in Bridgewater. Ruth had many hobbies, but her favorite were reading, cooking and baking for her late husband Raymond. In addition, she loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great- great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years Raymond; her sister, Margaret Inderwies; and her brother, George Gothie. Surviving are her two dear sons, Raymond Jr and his wife Cassie; and James and his wife Geraldine; two loving daughters, Joyce Feathers and Lois Smith; six cherished grandchildren, Edward, Charlotte, Alex, Jennifer, Thomas and Justin; eleven adored great grandchildren; three adored great-great grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. A private viewing will be held on Monday, January 3, 2021 from 10-10:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202, South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A private burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater.
