Martha Harris Bridgewater, NJ Martha Harris, 89, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home. Born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Martha resided in Bridgewater for the last 42 years. Martha was an active communicant at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, enjoyed singing, traveling, knitting gifts for everyone, and was an avid cook who won many cooking contests during her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Alex, brother Thomas, sister Mary, daughter in law Lucy, and her husband Edward of 63 years. Surviving is her son Robert of Bridgewater, NJ, daughter Linda of Bradenton, FL, and grandchildren Alyssa and Chris. Viewing will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6-9pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Services will start with a prayer at the funeral home on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 9:15am followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater.
