Marion Paterno, 89, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Born and raised in New York, NY, the daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Ferracane) Magliano, Marion also lived in Oceanside, New York prior to settling in Branchburg in 1986. Marion was a dedicated homemaker doting on her immediate family, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, decorating, gardening, and helping all those around her achieve their maximum potential, always ready to lend a helping hand. All above, Marion was all about her family whom she cherished and cared for more than anything. She is preceded in death by her husband Philip M. Paterno (2018) her beloved parents, a brother John and a sister Anna. Surviving are her loving sons Frank and wife Carol Paterno of Tewksbury, NJ; John and wife Teresa Paterno of Plainedge, NY; three cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, and Monica, one adored great granddaughter, Kinslee, and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 8am-9:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 9:30am. A mass will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10am at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
