Maria J. Fisher Branchburg, NJ Maria J. Fisher, 75, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at RWJ Hospital Somerset. Born and raised in Washington DC, she moved to NJ where she lived in Piscataway for 2 years before moving to Branchburg 41 years ago. Mrs. Fisher worked as a LPN for 20 years before retiring at the age of 57. For the past 5 years of her life she worked as a tour guide for Doris Dukes Estate before retiring at the age of 62. Maria enjoyed cooking, traveling to the Caribbean, especially Tahiti, and spending quality time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Helen and Joseph Reidy, and her brother, Jude. Surviving are her beloved husband of 32 years, Thomas Fisher; 3 dear sons, Peter Allen of Boulder, CO, Brendan Allen of Queens, NY, and David and wife Victoria Fisher of Flanders, NJ; her loving daughter, Tracy Fisher of Sinking Springs, PA; her brother Michael and wife Larna Reidy of Manchester, CN, 3 sisters, Patricia and husband Ralph Rampelini of Trophy Club, TX, Elizabeth Cain of Southington, CN, and Noreen and husband Dennis Huska of Ft Collins, CO; and 4 cherished grandchildren, Cody, Ryan, Brooke, and Lexi, and many loving nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 10-11am followed by a 11am prayer service at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
