Maria Vincenza Costanzo DeFina , 95, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. Born in S. Onofrio, in the province of Vibo Valentia, Italy, she immigrated to the United States in 1958. A former resident of Newark, she resided in Raritan the past 29 years. Maria was a homemaker who cherished her entire family. She was a communicant of St. Ann's R.C. Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Ralph DeFina in 2002. Surviving are her loving daughters Josephine Cugliari and husband Salvatore of Mesa, Arizona, Maria Rosaria "Sara" Cirianni and husband Dominick of Raritan, Joanne Spataro and husband Dominic of Chandler, Arizona and Rachel Loschiavo and husband Paul of Raritan, her loving son Frank and wife Gladys of Queen Creek, Arizona, 16 cherished grandchildren and 12 cherished great grandchildren.
