Maria E. Dampier, 82, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Bridgeway Care Nursing Home. Born in Bronx, NY, Maria resided in Flemington for 25 years before moving to Belvidere, NJ in 2015 then to Bridgewater 2 years ago.

After graduating high school, Maria went on to work in the retail and food service industries.

Maria loved to cook and host family events. During her free time, Maria enjoyed doing arts, crafts, and painting.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pauline and Frank Margagliano, her husband, Berry R. Dampier, and her brother, Roy Margagliano.

Surviving are her son, Berry and wife Jennifer Dampier of Phillipsburg, NJ; two daughters, Debbie and husband Anthony D'Angelo of Pittstown, NJ; Jaime and husband Tommy Bishop of Ottsville, PA; seven cherished grandchildren, four adored great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
