Madelane Reagan, 76, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. Born in Rahway, NJ, Madelane resided in Winfield Park for 25 years, Bridgewater for 8 years, Franklin for 6 years before moving to Bedminster 1 year ago.
Madelane graduated from Rahway High school class of 1962. Her large, fun and loud backyard parties on Central Avenue are remembered by all.
After raising her children, Madelane went on to work as an Administrative Representative for Roberts Walsh Business School and held the same position in Cittone Institute.
Madelane had a love for art, including American Indian art and the history of American Indians as well. She was an accomplished artist of many beautiful pieces, and she loved to draw and paint most days. She was an avid reader of historical novels which she retained the facts incredibly.
Madelane enjoyed beautiful sunsets and snowy days and took photo's to share with friends and family on social media. She enjoyed traveling and had been to Italy to visit where her Father was born. Madelane could spend the entire day at the beach at the Jersey Shore and would bring a great book to read. The beach was her happy place. She was a social butterfly, everyone enjoyed her beautiful smile and loved having a long conversation with her. She was an excellent conversationalist. Madelane most enjoyed spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The many parties the family had were so loved by her and she enjoyed them incredibly. Madelane was quite a good a tennis player in younger years and had a passion for raising large Parrots and other birds with her late husband Patrick.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Alty and Florence (Toppy) Herder Alty. Also Her most beloved husband Patrick Brian Reagan (2012).
Surviving are her dear son Andrew "Drew" and wife Tracy Ruscansky of Annadale, NJ; her loving daughter, Dawnell and husband Darin Gerow of Bridgewater, NJ; her brother Albert and wife Lori Alty of Basking Ridge, NJ; one sister Loretta Alty
Murphy and husband Jeff Murphy of Pittstown, NJ; her first husband Andrew J. Ruscansky of Winfield Park, NJ; Three step children, Michael, Colleen, Patrick, and their families, four cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Garret, and Juliet, two nieces Jessica and Megan, two nephews, Jeffrey and Joshua, and her feline companion, Shasha.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 from 10-11am. Memorial services will be held on a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association.
