Louise Assante

Louise Assante, 81, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Bridgeway Care. Born in Somerville, NJ, Louise spent most of her life in Bridgewater.

A graduate of Bound Brook High School, Louise went on to work for Cytec in Paterson as an Administrative Assistant for 50 years before retiring in 2009.

Louise was a member of the Somerville Senior Crafters. During her free time, she enjoyed crafting, taking trips to the Jersey Shore and Atlantic City. She loved bowling in her earlier years but most importantly, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family especially her granddaughter Alyssa.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and Leonard P. Assante.

Surviving are her dear son, Len and wife Nicole Assante, her sister, Elizabeth Symanski of Somerset, NJ; her cherished granddaughter, Alyssa and two nieces, Carrie and Marisa.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 9am-10:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 with a prayer service starting at 10:30am. Burial to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
