Lizardo Adan O'Besso, 69, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Callao-Lima, Peru, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1972. He purchased his first home in Raritan in 1991 before moving to Bridgewater where he resided for 20 years. Lizardo worked as a Water Processing Technician for Ortho Clinical Diagnostic for 42 years. Lizardo was a former member of the Fire Brigade at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics formally known as Johnson & Johnson. To his friends and coworkers, he was commonly known as "Adam". A hardworking man, he loved his job. He enjoyed fixing cars and he took great pride in taking care of his home. Lizardo was an avid soccer enthusiast, especially for his favorite teams Sport Boys of Peru and Barcelona. Lizardo loved going out to dinner, especially for Peruvian food. He loved listening to 70's, merengue, and Peruvian music, collecting colognes, and traveling with his family. Above all, what he enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Miguel O'Besso; and brother, Alfredo O'Besso. Surviving him are his mother Jacinta Susanibar; his loving wife of 29 years, Liliana Caballero O'Besso; his dear son Michael O'Besso and fiancé Rebecca Borman, of Cary, NC; five loving daughters, Jacinta "Peaches" O'Besso-Rivera of Bayonne, NJ; Cristina O'Besso and fiancé, Jose Alers, of Manville, NJ; Liza Santos and husband, Luis Santos, of Hillsborough, NJ; Dr. Valerie O'Besso of Bridgewater, NJ; and Michele O'Besso of Bridgewater, NJ; three brothers, Alberto O'Besso of Lima, Peru; Alejandro O'Besso of Edison, NJ; and Jaime O'Besso and fiancé, Jacqueline Ordoñez, of North Brunswick, NJ; three sisters, Cecilia Cravotto and husband, Daniel Cravotto, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Elsa Pachas and husband, Luis Pachas, of San Jose, CA; Carmen O'Besso of San Jose, CA; and nine cherished grandchildren, Julissa, Andrez, Marcus Jr., Angel, Paris, Alyssa, Michael Jr., Adaliz, and Gabriella. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association. Funeral services are private.
