Linda Diane (Ardin) Teeter

With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of Linda Diane (Ardin) Teeter, age 73, on September 14, 2024. Born in Somerville, NJ to Joseph and Rose Marie (Kern) Ardin, Linda's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, strength, and boundless compassion.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Rose Ardin, her sister Janice and brother-in-law Frank Straz, her sister Sharon Ardin, and her nephew Wayne Straz.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family:

Her daughters and their partners: Colleen Canizares and her life partner Joseph Cornellier. Pamela and her husband Jeffrey Cherwinski. Linda's grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure: Carrisa and her husband Gabriel Mercado, Breanna Ferenzi, Angelina Canizares, Daniel Canizares, Salvatore Cornellier, Sierra Cherwinski, and Luke Cherwinski. Luke Cherwinski's infant son, great-grandson, Rory James Cherwinski, along with multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda's younger brother, Joseph Ardin of Langhorn, PA shared a special bond with her. In her final months, Joseph's companionship provided her with comfort and joy. Their time spent cooking, taking day trips, and simply being together was a testament to the deep love and connection between siblings.

A beacon of strength and perseverance, Linda worked tirelessly as a single mother, juggling multiple jobs to ensure her daughters never went without. Her generous spirit extended far beyond her family, as she became a pillar of support for other single mothers and their children. Linda's warmth and guidance created a nurturing haven for young girls facing economic and racial exclusion, embodying the true meaning of community and compassion through years of Volunteer work as a Girl Scout Leader. No one was ever left out while she was around!

Linda's professional life was marked by dedication and service. At Lyons Veteran's Hospital, she earned civic awards for her exceptional care of our nation's heroes. Later, she brightened the lives of countless individuals during her decades with the United States Postal Service, sharing her radiant smile and friendship with all her customers.

Linda's passions enriched her life and brought joy to those around her. She found beauty in nature, enjoying gardens and their vibrant blooms that mirrored her colorful spirit. Music was a constant companion, filling her home with melodies that lifted her soul and created a warm atmosphere for family gatherings. In her leisure time, Linda developed a love for Korean dramas, immersing herself in captivating stories that broadened her cultural horizons and provided endless entertainment.

Linda's wisdom, drawn from a life rich in experiences, touched the hearts of all who knew her. She opened her home and heart to both people and animals in need. Her love knew no bounds, and her legacy of generosity, kindness, and perseverance will continue to inspire generations.

As we say goodbye to our cherished Linda, her loving spirit continues to light our way. May her spirit of love and generosity live on through the lives she touched, a testament to a life beautifully lived.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 with a prayer service beginning at 7:30pm.

Funeral mass will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church. Interment in private.
