Linda Hubbard Romano, 60, of Pahrump, NV (formerly of Hillsborough, NJ), passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at her home, after a long illness.
Born in The Bronx, NY, Linda spent the first 25 years of her life living in New York, before moving to Jersey City, NJ in 1986. In March of 1987, Linda met her future husband and soulmate, Michael Romano. Linda and Michael were married for 33 years.
Linda worked as a tax professional for various companies, before retiring in 2019.
Linda's hobbies included arts and crafts, playing bingo, playing board and card games, and traveling to her favorite places – Las Vegas, Death Valley and Gettysburg. She had a heart of gold and loved helping people. She also loved animals and had many wonderful pets over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Evelyn Hubbard, and sisters, Carol Silkowitz and Julie Fiscella.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael, her son and daughter-in-law, John and Aimee Romano, her sister, Eleanor Chin, her brother, Dennis Hubbard, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service, celebrating Linda's life, will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:45 PM.
