Linda Lee King Phillips , 48, of Stanhope, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at a family residence. Born in Norfolk, VA, she formerly resided in Lake Hopatcong before moving to Stanhope 16 years ago. Ms. Phillips worked for Siemens Health Care Diagnostics in Flanders, having held the position of Educational Solutions Consultant. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stanhope. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed stitching and making arts and crafts that she could share with family and friends. Linda also enjoyed artwork and painting. She had a love of animals. Education was important to her, she was a constant learner. She had a Bachelor of Science degree and recently completed her MBA. Linda enjoyed the outdoors. She loved hiking, camping and traveling with family and friends. Her most recent trip to Alaska with family and friends was a great adventure for her and her family. Surviving are her loving children, Amanda Lee Phillips and, Paul Damian Phillips, her beloved parents, Robert and Mary Lee Chick King, her dear brother, Robert A. King, Jr., and his wife, Carolyn, her dear sister, Sherri Farinaro, and her husband, Tony, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 7 to 9 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 908) 526-7638. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM, April 3, 2009 at the Stanhope Presbyterian Church, 100 Main Street, Stanhope, NJ 07874.
