Lamont V. Fritzinger, 91, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Foothill Acres in Hillsborough, NJ.

Born in Parryville, PA Lamont later moved to Bridgewater, NJ where he resided for 30 years. After High school, he served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1953. Later on, he worked as a self-employed excavator for Moe's Trucking.

Lamont was a member of the Bradley Gardens American Legion. In his free time, he enjoyed watching stock car and Nascar racing, but most importantly in his recliner with his cat Jake! He had a keen eye for his old Cadillac. Lamont was a simple person, with simple taste. He loved spending time with his family, and creating cherished memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lamont is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Katherine M. Hinger and Charles A. Fritzinger, 5 loving brothers: Robert, Reynold, Albert, Carl, and Wayne Fritzinger, and his dear granddaughter Ashley Cardona.

Surviving are his devoted wife Elizabeth Fritzinger, his former wife Margaret "Peggy" Baker, his son David and wife Anne Fritzinger, his daughter Marlene and husband William Davis, and step-daughters Brenda Oller and Anne Albaugh, his 3 cherished grandchildren Ashley, Jessica, and Carson, and 2 great-grandchildren Madison, Penelope, and a great grandson on the way.
