Kesin Ishan Dixit, 17, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, left us far too soon on August 15, 2026, just days before what would have been his 18th birthday. Though his time with us was brief, the light he brought into every room was anything but small.

Kesin was a student at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, where he poured his heart into music, dance, theater, and scholasitcs. Whether he was on stage, moving to a beat, or simply humming a tune under his breath, performing wasn't just something Kesin did — it was who he was. He had a gift for bringing joy wherever he went, and a passion for the arts that lit him up from the inside out.

Those who knew Kesin will remember him for his warm smile, his big, unmistakable belly laugh, and the gentle, kind way he moved through the world. He was the kind of friend who showed up, who listened, who made people feel seen. He cherished nothing more than time with his family, and that devotion — to the people he loved and to the friends he called family — was at the very center of who he was.

Kesin leaves behind his parents, Piyush and Swapna Dixit; his younger sister, Leela, who adored him; his paternal grandparents, Subodh and Kanti Dixit; his maternal grandparents, Mahendra and Rajni Radia; his paternal aunt and uncle, Sharad and Priya Patel, his maternal aunt and uncle, Matt and Shilpa Clott, and his cousins, Tarin Clott, Jiya Patel, Maya Clott, Ruhan Patel and Deven Clott, and his two furry siblings Kona and Lola — along with countless friends, classmates, and teachers whose lives he touched with his warmth and light.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US-202, Branchburg, NJ 08876. All who knew and loved Kesin are welcome to come share in remembering him — his laugh, his light, and the joy he gave so freely. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a scholarship fund established in Kesin's honor.
