Obituary

Kathleen M. (Regan) Witsch, 74, of Branchburg, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Kathleen was raised in Bloomfield before making her home in Branchburg, where she lived for the past 37 years.

Kathleen graduated from East Orange Catholic High School in 1969 and built a career as a dedicated administrative assistant, working for several companies throughout her life. Prior to retiring in 2021, she was employed by TD Bank in Bridgewater as a Commercial Sales Assistant.

Above all else, Kathleen's greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in raising her two beautiful daughters, and being their devoted mother was the role she treasured most. She was also deeply involved with the Special Olympics for many years alongside her daughter, Jackie, and found great fulfillment in supporting the organization and its athletes.

A 30-year breast cancer survivor, Kathleen's life was a remarkable testament to resilience, courage, and hope. Pink roses were always her special sign, symbolizing the strength and beauty with which she faced life's challenges.

Kathleen cherished the memories made during family vacations to Wildwood, New Jersey, Nantucket, and Walt Disney World. She loved opening her home to family and friends, and entertaining came naturally to her. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, and her home was often the heart of family gatherings, celebrations, and laughter. She truly lived for time spent with the people she loved.

She also appreciated life's simple pleasures. Whether savoring a good martini, enjoying happy hour with her girlfriends, spending a day shopping and lunch with friends, or sharing stories around the table with family, Kathleen embraced every moment with warmth, grace, and joy.

Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved parents, John and Florence (Schall) Regan.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Jacqueline Witsch and Kristen Crivello and her husband, Paul;her cherished grandchildren, Kayla and Paul Crivello; her sisters, Patricia Catania and her late husband, Vincent, and Maureen Jordan and her husband, Alex; six loving nieces and nephews; and ten great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Kathleen will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely with everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and joyful hospitality will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
