Obituary

Kathleen Ritter of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 25th, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Kathleen was one of five children and is survived by her siblings: James Heimlich (Patricia), Janice Bistis (Mark), Patricia Wohlfarth (Paul), and Arleen Brianik (Gregory). She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Arleen Heimlich.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Alan Ritter. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her two daughters, Kaitlin Ritter, married to Caleb Seavey, and Meagan Ritter married to Matthew Cuilik. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her cherished grandchild, Sophie Seavey, who brought her immense joy.

Family was the center of her life, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She also enjoyed traveling, often alongside her family, creating memories that will be treasured always.

Kathleen was a devoted educator, serving as a teacher in the Readington and Point Pleasant Township Schools for over 35 years. She touched countless lives through her dedication, patience, and love for teaching.

A deeply faithful Catholic and member of our Lady of Lourdes parish, she lived her life rooted in devotion and service. While she will be dearly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with God and her parents.

Kathleen leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, faith, and family that will endure forever.
