Julius C. Takacs

Julius C. Takacs, 90, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Julius resided in North Plainfield for three months before moving to Bridgewater.

Julius graduated from Mount St. Mary in Maryland. Shortly after, he became an accountant. Julius also worked for Lockheed Electronics in Watchung, NJ.

Julius loved doing yardwork and keeping the house up to par. During his free time, he enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching the news and the Yankees play. He loved taking trips down the shore especially to Long Beach Island with his late wife Bernadine.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary and Julius S. Takacs and his sister.

Surviving are his two sons, James Takacs of Bangor, Pa; Jeffrey Takacs of Bridgewater, NJ; two daughters, Michelle of Somerset, NJ; Jacqueline of Oakridge, NJ; and one grandchildren, Sebastian Mey.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10am Holy Trinity Church in Bridgewater. Committal is private.
