Julia M. Andia, of Wellington, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at TrustBridge Care Center, West Palm Beach. Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Julia later resided in Florida.
As a Spanish translator, she worked in the import department with her fellow co-workers at DuPont Chemicals located in New York's Empire State Building for 7 years before her retirement in 1953.
Throughout her earlier days, Julia loved to entertain, dance and socialize with friends. Later she enjoyed taking part in many games such as Rummikub, Canasta, and Bridge. Most importantly, she loved visiting and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Francesca and Antonio Barquin, her loving husband, Frank R. Andia, her sisters Margaret Garcia, Anita Arias, and Carmen Uranga, and her loving brothers Peter, Clemente, and Antonio Barquin.
Surviving are her dear son Mark and wife Kathy Andia of Branchburg, NJ; and her loving daughter Lynne Andia and husband Rodney Fogelman of Delray Beach, FL, and her cherished granddaughter Melissa.
A private viewing will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 9-10 am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
