Judith May Westland

Judith (Judy) May Westland, age 67 of Hillsborough, NJ, formerly of Harborcreek, became an angel on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Hillsborough Township, following a brief illness.

Judy and her twin brother, Bob, were born on Christmas Eve, 1955 in Warren, PA to parents, Chuck and Lolly Westland. She was the youngest daughter and lovingly referred to as "Judy-girl".

Judy and her family moved to Harborcreek where she attended and graduated from Harbor Creek High School. She was employed in Erie at First National Bank in the trust department, later relocating to Florida and then New Jersey where she was considered a very valuable and knowledgeable Operational Assistant at AG Edwards Brokerage, which later became Wells Fargo Investments.

In addition to her work, Judy loved visiting her family and friends, but also enjoyed her alone time with her TV. She had many, many friends and was always thought of as a very caring, loving, happy person. In recent years, her friends Carol Mercer and Diane Eberling and their families became her beloved "adopted" New Jersey sisters.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Chuck) Westland and Laura (Messner) Westland. She is survived by six siblings; brothers: Charles (Kathy), Bill (Mary), Bob (Debbie), and Jim (Andi), and sisters: Sue (Chris) Stankiewicz and Gig (Pat) Fenell. Also surviving are 11 nieces and nephews: Nicole Cowan, Kristen Westland, Mary Schwab, Cindi Stark, CJ Stankiewicz, Mike, Dan and Eric Fenell, Greg and Emily Westland, and Collin Westland; as well as 13 great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek) on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2 PM until the time of a Memorial Service to be conducted there at 4 PM. Judy will be privately laid to rest at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
