Judith S. Staton Branchburg, NJ Judith Staton, 80, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at her home. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Judith resided in Scotch Plains for 50 years before moving to Branchburg a year and a half ago. Judith graduated from Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ. After graduating, she went on to work as an Administrative Assistant for Summit Arts Center and Crown Cadillac. Judy was a PTA Mom for many years. She loved to garden and cook. Her greatest love was antiquing and collecting toy Nodders. Judy was an avid bowler and loved to shop especially for her family. She enjoyed taking many trips to the Jersey Shore, finding sea glass, dining out and going to Sushi restaurants. The one thing she enjoyed the most was spending quality time with the family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Gertrude and Wilfred Tallon. Surviving are her loving husband, Anthony G. Staton of 60 years, a dear son Jeff and wife Kim Whiting of Tulsa, OK; a loving daughter, Jill and husband Kevin Long of Bridgewater, NJ; a brother, Phillip and wife Barbara Ann Tallon of Jacksonville, FL; four cherished grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Eliza, and Bennett and four nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1-3pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00pm. Committal is private.
