Jozefa Szynalski Scotrun, PA Jozefa Szynalski, 92, of Scotrun, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 27, 2019. Born and raised in Poland, she immigrated to the USA where she resided in Kearny for 35 years before moving to Scotrun, PA 18 years ago. Before her retirement, Jozefa worked as a machine operator for Swenson Plastics in Kearny for 26 years. Jozefa had a great passion for crocheting and sewing, enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening in her flower and vegetable gardens, but most of all spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and will be in our hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Zofia and Bronislaw Oleskow; her dear brother, Kazimerz Oleskow; and her beloved husband of 67 years, Stanislaw (2017). Surviving are her three loving daughters, Anna Zacheiss of Scotrun, PA, Hedwig Bachler of Bridgewater, NJ, and Elzbieta Trillo of Delray Beach, Florida; two dear sons, Henry of New Haven, CT, and Bernie of Willowghby, OH; her wonderful brother, Mieczyslaw of Osiek, Poland; her wonderful Sister, Janina Aniol of Bogdanow, Poland; eight cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Michael, Lisa, Jonathan, Jessica, John, and Alyson; and her adored great-grandchildren, Natalie, Brian, Grayson, Henryk, Theodore, James, and Eleanor. Viewing will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4-6 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with prayer at the funeral home on Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 9:15 am followed by a 10 am funeral liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ.
