Joseph W. Stadler, 87, of Neshanic Station, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rochelle, NY, Joseph resided in Hillsborough for 5 years before moving to Neshanic Station 32 years ago.

Joseph graduated from Morristown High School, Class of 1953. He served our county in the United States Army from 1954-1956.

Mr. Stadler worked for Hillsborough Township as a Sub Code Official Builder for 20 plus years before his retirement in 2008.

Joseph loved woodworking, gardening, and landscaping. He was your regular outdoors man. Joe loved building houses around the state. He was an avid Yankees fan and skier, Joseph skied in his 70s. He enjoyed traveling with his family. He enjoyed kayaking and spending quality time with his family at their beach house in Long Beach Island. Joseph enjoyed a trip to Ireland and loved the Emerald Isle.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elsie and John Stadler, a brother, John Stadler, and his daughter, Laura Stadler.

Surviving are his loving wife Sally Guerin Stadler, two sons, Kenneth William Stadler (Carrie) of South Carolina; Luke William and wife Lisa Stadler of Maine; one daughter, Lisa Stadler- Kay and husband Rick of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; five cherished grandchildren, Jesse, Nichole, Alexa, Danielle and Beatrice, and two adored great grandchildren, Leo and Aurora and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12:30pm.
