Joseph P. Squadrito Branchburg, NJ Joseph (Joe) Squadrito, 96, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at RWJ with his daughter by his side. Born in Manhattan, NY, Joe resided in Fairfield and Roseland before moving to Branchburg. Joe graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree from St. John's University. After graduating, he joined the Army Air Corp serving our country in WW2 for three years. Joe worked as a sales manager in the Petroleum Industry for over 45 years before his retirement. Joe ushered in every church that he was a member of. He loved sailing with his sons and grandson, helping with home projects, and visiting his daughter's family in California. Joe loved to fly airplanes and attend air shows with his two sons. He enjoyed taking photos and always had his camera in his hand. Joe was an avid reader and loved a good glass of red wine. He proudly displayed his American Flag at his homes. He donated too many charities and was also a 10-gallon blood donor. One thing Joe enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Grace and Frank Squadrito, two sisters Mary Sturniolo, Gina Hoppenthal and a brother Vincent Squadrito. Surviving are his loving daughter Kathi and husband Ben Marino of Branchburg, NJ; two dear sons, Jim and wife Alison Squadrito of Lynnfield, MA; Robert and wife Anne Squadrito of Bernardsville, NJ; and five cherished grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brendan, Sarah, Matthew, and Lindsay. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 RT. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 9:15am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. Funeral mass will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 9:45am. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Joe's Memory to Hope for Veterans @communityhope-nj.org
