Joseph M. Caponegro Regional Sales Manager Bridgewater Joseph M. Caponegro, 62 died Tuesday August 10, 2004 after having suffered an apparent heart attack. Born in Newark, he resided in East Hanover before moving to Bridgewater 23 years ago. Mr. Caponegro served an enlistment in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era where he received the good conduct metal. He is a graduate of CLU. Joseph was a Regional Sales Manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in the Fairfield and Bridgewater area for 31 years until 1997 after which he was the Territorial Sales Manager for Sherwin Williams Paint Co for the past 5 years. Joseph had received the Manager of the year award and was a member of the Somerset Business Mens Golf League. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years RoseMarie (Zarro) Caponegro, his dear sons, Joseph and daughter-in-law Tiziana of Hillsborough and Dean and daughter-in-law Tamara of New Hope, Pa., and his cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher and Jace. Funeral services will begin 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 U.S. Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at the Mary Mother of God R. C. Church in Hillsborough, NJ. Entombment will be in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. Visitation hours are Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
