Johnetta Toney, 46, of Burlington, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home. Born in Plainfield, Johnetta resided in Plainfield for most of her life before moving to Philadelphia 5 years ago. Johnetta owned her own baking company named Baby Girls Sweets which she took a lot of pride in. She loved to cook, to go shopping, care for her home, and couponing. One thing Johnetta enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved Father John Toney, and Grand Mother Avasta Toney the roots of our lineage, and her son Malik Toney, and her Aunt, Michelle Toney. Surviving are her Mother, Carol Toney, Fiancé, Vaugh Jones of Philadelphia, PA; five dear sons, Javeh'y and wife Tianna Toney of Branchburg, NJ; Faheed Smith of Plainfield, NJ; Jahmez Riddick of Washington, NJ; Jahmei Riddick of Cranford, NJ; 4 loving daughters, Timisha and her Fiancé Yusan Powell of Branchburg, NJ; Alexis Riddick of Bronx, NY; Raven Riddick of NJ; one brother, John Toney of Plainfield, NJ; Aunts & Uncle, Dallas Toney of MD, Sheila Toney of No. Plainfield NJ, Delisa Hooks, Karen Toney of No. Plainfield NJ, Monica Toney of Plainfield NJ, Michelle Wilson of Paterson, and Quemye Boyd of plfd; 11 grandchildren, Ja'nyi, Jio'vante, Kyi'on, Ja'sai, Heaven, Javeh'y Jei'Lynn Yusan, Nae'oni, Kae'Lani, Nyi'la and Kyree and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 2-4pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. Committal is private.
