John F. Provenzano

John F. Provenzano, 61, of Nutley NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Hackensack UMC Mountainside. Born in Somerville, NJ, John grew up in Raritan and was currently residing in Nutley.

John worked for East Coast Toyota as a Service Advisor for 15 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, fishing, landscaping and tending to his garden. John especially cherished the time spent fishing with his dad and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

During his younger years, John played football and golf in high school. He was also proud of his perfect bowling game, an accomplishment he often shared with family and friends.

John enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on #21 with his cousin Joey and cheering on the New York Giants. He loved cooking his famous smoked ribs for his family and friends and spending time with his beloved dog Lacey who was always by his side.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Antionette (Okurowski) Provenzano, his sister Debbie Evans and his father Frank J. Provenzano.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sheri Provenzano, his step daughter Amanda Gabriele, his sister Gina Provenzano and her wife Alisa Jones, his brother Frank Jr. and wife Cassandra Provenzano, his stepmother Lou Ann Provenzano, his mother-in-law Ellen Inzinna, his brother-in-laws Dennis Inzinna and Ken Evans, his nieces, Kellie Evans and Skyler Jones, his nephew, Logan Provenzano, his aunts, Anna Columbus and Joann Marfino and his loving cousins.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 3pm-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 and on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10am-11am with a prayer service beginning at 11am. Committal is private.
