John C. Langel Bridgewater, NJ John Langel, 71, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, John resided in Somerville for 13 years before moving to Bridgewater 30 years ago. John graduated from Bridgewater Raritan West High School in 1967. After graduating High School, he continued his studies at Rutgers University where he received his Associates Degree. John was a former member of the Raritan Post War Club. He was an avid golfer, Giants, and Yankees Fan. John coached for the Somerville Little League. He loved going to Atlantic City, especially going to the horse track. He loved going down to Cape May several time a year with his family. When it came to his grandchildren, he never missed a sporting event. Most importantly, John enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Lorraine and John Langel, and a sister in law, Debbie. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Donna Conti Langel, his dear son Jonathan and wife Nicole Langel of Bridgewater, NJ; a loving daughter, Gina Langel and fiancé Domenic Adragna of Bridgewater, NJ; one brother, Michael Langel of Delray Beach, FL; three cherished grandchildren, Johnny, Joseph, and Brionna, and many loving nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 10am at St. Bernard's R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ, Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
