John "Kaz" Kaczanowski Jr.

Bound Brook, NJ

John "Kaz" Kaczanowski Jr., 68, of Bound Brook, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Somerville, NJ, John spent all of his life in Bound Brook and a year in Washington.

John graduated from Bound Brook high School, Class of 1972. He then went on to receive his Associates Degree from Trenton State.

John worked for Eli Lily Pharmaceutical Company for 15 years before retiring in 2021.

During his free time, John loved to play guitar and go fishing up in Vermont. He was an avid Yankees fan and had a huge love for his canine companions, Charlie and Brody. Most importantly he enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his children and granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Loretta and John Kaczanowski Sr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Liz Todd Kaczanowski, a dear son, John W. Kaczanowski of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a loving daughter, Jill Kaczanowski of Bridgewater, NJ; three sisters, Susan Olivo of Pittstown, NJ; Nancy and husband Ciro Fontaine of Bound Brook, NJ; Lori and husband Bill Sassano of Palmer Township, PA; two adored granddaughters, Grace and Jenna, many loving nieces and nephews, and his two canine companions, Charlie and Brody.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 9:15am. Funeral mass will take place at St. Bernard R.C. Church at 10am. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
