John (Jack) Fuchs, 74, of Readington, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center. He was born in Union, NJ, where he lived for most of his early life before moving to Readington 40 years ago. Mr. Fuchs was a graduate of Union High School in 1963. John worked as a design draftsman at BOC/Linde for 38 years before retiring in 2015. Mr. Fuchs was a member of the FreeMason and an Assistant Scout master of Troop #186 with his sons in Three Bridges, NJ. John enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, floating in his pool, traveling throughout the U.S. and cruising to Bermuda. One thing that meant the most to John was spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Christina and John Fuchs. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years Mary Horun Fuchs, his three dear sons, John Fuchs of Allentown, PA; Michael and his wife Korie Fuchs of Lopatcong, NJ; and Daniel and his wife Amy of Perkasie, PA; six adored grandchildren, Mackenzie, Samantha, Nathan, Lillian, Kathryn, and Elizabeth along with many cherished nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A Parastas will begin at 7:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home at 9:00am on Friday, January 24, 2020 followed by a funeral mass will start at 10:00am at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church 1900 Brooks Blvd Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
