COLORADO- John Joseph Bogan, Jr., 60, was visiting with his family to assist with family care died unexpectedly Friday, September 24, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1961 to his dear parents Maryanne and John Bogan. John was known by many as "Johnny", Johnny B" and "Bogie". He was a graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ Class of 1979 and a graduate of Rider College. John was an underwriter for Progressive Insurance in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He truly enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for hiking, camping, kayaking, skiing and going to the beach. John was an avid Giants football fan. His unconditional love for his family, his nieces, nephews and friends prevailed daily. All who knew him will miss his fun and loving smile. John is survived by his beloved parents Maryanne and John "Jack", loving sisters Mary Ellen Frank and husband Claude, Kathleen A. Bogan, Nancy J. Delaney and husband Neil and Peggy A. Bond and husband Gary, cherished nieces and nephews Christopher, Erin, Keith, Brittany, Colleen and Garrett. Visitation from 2:00pm to 5pm, Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ (908) 526-7638. Funeral services Monday, October 4, 2021 beginning 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, N.J.
