Joanne M. Pitman Branchburg, NJ Joanne Mary Nemetz Pitman, 57, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at her home. Born on September 20th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she soon moved to New Jersey where she grew up in her favorite hometown of Middlesex. Joanne met the love of her life, Glen, while working at Far Hills Country Day School. She resided in Branchburg for the last 4 years. Joanne was a graduate of Middlesex High School Class of 1979. She worked at Far Hills Country Day School, Fiddlers Elbow Country Club, The Butler's Pantry of Far Hills, and, for the past 4 years at Stop and Shop in Raritan. Joanne's love of animals will never be forgotten. From her cats to her favorite dog, Bonnie, she could befriend any animal she saw. Her holiday spirit was unmatched. She enjoyed gardening and was passionate about cooking. She loved the beach – especially the Jersey Shore, traveling to Disney World with her family, and reconnecting with old friends on Facebook. Most importantly, her life revolved around her son, Gregory. Joanne will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Joan, and her brother, Richie Nemetz. Joanne is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Glen, her loving son, Gregory of Branchburg, her loving father and stepmother, Rick and Lynn Nemetz of Leesburg, Virginia, her aunt, Mary Vilot of Toms River, NJ, many cousins and dear friends.
