Joan J. Pankuch Bridgewater, NJ Joan J. Pankuch, 85, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2016. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a resident of Cranford before moving to Bridgewater 60 years ago. Mrs. Pankuch was a school bus driver for Bridgewater Township for 20 years before retiring in 2001. Joan enjoyed traveling, especially to the Jersey Shore, shopping, and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Dorothy Porter and Charles Billington, and her beloved husband of 59 years, Alan J. Pankuch (2004). Surviving are her 2 dear sons, Glenn and wife Lynn Pankuch of Elizabethtown PA, and Kevin Pankuch of High Bridge, NJ; her loving daughter, Holly and husband Bruce Deemer of Bridgewater, NJ; her wonderful sister, Dorothy Schar of Keyport, NJ; and 2 cherished grandchildren, Stephanie and Keri. Viewing will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 from 10am-12pm with a prayer service to follow at 12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Mausoleum entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
