Jay P. Zukus, 68, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ashland, PA, Jay was raised in Piscataway, NJ then resided in New Egypt for 19 years before moving to Bridgewater.

Jay was a member of Arbor Hose Company #1 in Piscataway, New Jersey for 10 years, served as Chief, and served on the Board of Fire Commissioners.

During his free time, Jay loved to sit by the water and relax, especially in Greenport, Long Island. He loved going out and exploring new restaurants particularly those with oysters and Old Fashions.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary and Alexander Zukus Jr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 13 years, Lisa Wennberg Zukus, a dear son, Dustin and wife Victoria Zukus of Browns Mills, NJ; two loving daughters, Erin and husband Justin Noble of Hamilton, NJ; Jessica and husband Robert Wilke of Hamilton, NJ; three brothers, Patrick and wife Carol Zukus of Essex, MD; Alexander Zukus III of Whiting, NJ; Edward and wife Erica Zukus of Pemberton, NJ; four adored grandchildren, Evan, Landon, Elijah, and Addison.
