Janet Williams Branchburg, NJ Janet Williams, 91, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Georgia. Born in Linden, NJ. Janet resided in Somerset of 20 years and the Raritan area for 34 years. Janet graduated from Batton High School in Elizabeth, Class of 1948. Janet worked for Adam Equipment in Eatontown, NJ as a Director of Purchasing for 10 years before her retirement in 1987. Janet was a life member of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed playing golf, bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City. The one thing Janet enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pauline and Frank Yurk, and her husband, David P. Williams (2009). Surviving are her dear son Stephen Williams of Branchburg, NJ; her loving daughter, Cheryl Ann and husband Venus Newton of Jasper, GA; former daughter in law, Sara Schexnayder of New Orleans, Louisiana; four cherished grandchildren, Rhiannon, Evan, Brenna, and David and two adored great grandchildren, Chevelle and Lydia, and a niece and nephew, Judy Gibson and Richard Williams. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 9:15am. Funeral mass will take place at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville, NJ.
