Jane O'Keefe, 90, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Jane grew up in Metuchen, NJ. When married, she resided and raised her family in East Hanover, NJ. Upon retirement, Jane moved to Manchester, NJ and then relocated to Bridgewater, NJ one year ago. Jane was a graduate of Methuen High school. Upon graduating she worked as a medical secretary at Camp Kilmer, Edison NJ. After her children were grown she was a Teacher's Aide in the Whippany school system before ending her working career as the receptionist for Tiffany & Co, retiring in 1989. Jane was the ultimate homemaker. She enjoyed cleaning and cooking and took great pride in her home. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, her many friends and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Grace and Francis Doran, her husband of 65 years Joseph O'Keefe, a sister, Patricia Hickey, and a brother Philip Doran. Surviving are her dear son Kevin and wife Dina O'Keefe of Montville, NJ; a loving daughter Kathleen and husband Christopher Strack of Branchburg, NJ; three adored grandchildren Sarah, Kelly, and Ryan, and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private.
