James M. Petras Woodside, NY James M. Petras, 70, of Woodside, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his residence. Born in Newark, NJ, James resided in Branchburg, NJ before residing in Bound Brook, NJ and finally residing in Woodside, NY. James was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Queens, NY. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking care of his garden and plants. He is preceded in death by his beloved father Michael Petras. Surviving are his loving mother Marion Petras of Warren; two loving sisters, Theresa Petras of Bedminster, NJ; Debbie and husband John Beisler of Branchburg and two loving nephews, John and Evan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Committal is private.
