James "Jimmy" P. Nadolski

James "Jimmy" P. Nadolski, 81, of West New York, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Palisades Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, Jimmy, as he was known by his family and friends, grew up in the Journal Square area before moving to West New York 60 years ago.

Jimmy served in the US Army from 1964 to 1970 as a missile crewman and was also stationed in Korea. When he left the service, he worked as a mechanic for many years.

Mr. Nadolski enjoyed working on cars, helping people clean out their houses, and going to yard sales.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph and Mary Nadolski and his girlfriend of 40 years, Jacqueline Nau.

Surviving are his dear brother, John and wife Dotty Nadolski of Old Bridge, NJ; his loving sister, Mary and husband Dominick Flora of Neshanic Station, NJ; nieces and nephews Joanne Flora and husband Jay Smoktunowicz, Frank and wife Terri Flora, Robert Flora, Anne Marie and husband Arthur Flora, Cheryl and husband Ralph Barnhardt and many grand nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his close friends, whom he considered family, Robert Nau, Erin Nally, Gregory Panayis, Mark Panayis, Charlie Turkowski, Bertha Parks, Pete Consentino, Caesar Garcia, Steve Belken, Gary Tomaro, Tommy Foley, Frank the mailman, Gerry, Filomina, and many others from the neighborhood.
