James Ping-Lee Chen Branchburg, NJ James Ping-Lee Chen, 74, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Overlook Medical Center. Born in LuoDong, Yilan, Taiwan, James resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Neshanic Station/Branchburg 41 years ago. Mr. Chen received his Master's Degree in Biochemistry from Brooklyn College and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Taiwan. James worked for Johnson and Johnson as Senior Scientist for 37 years before his retirement in 2016. Mr. Chen loved watching movies of all genres and traveling throughout Asia. He enjoyed going on walks in the park and loved a good cup of coffee. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Deng-Mei Lin and Chung-Ting Chen and brother, Biing-Shen Chen. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Yeh-Zon Chen, two dear sons, Raymond and wife Gloria of Santa Clara, CA; Richard and wife Shu Hua Wu of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, Biing-Jaw and wife Jean Chen of Pasadena, CA; two sisters, Li-Ching and husband Paul Lin of Cupertino, CA; Shi-Mei Lin and husband Gary Lin; four grandchildren, Wesley, Roselyn, Stanley, and Eva and many loving nieces and nephews. Viewing and committal are private.
