Ida M. Babbitt

Ida M. Babbitt, 58, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Ida moved to Branchburg where she resided for 31 years.

Ida received her Associates Degree. Shortly after, she began working for CBRE as a Pharmaceutical Consultant.

During her free time, Ida enjoyed traveling, taking care of the ones she loved, and taking trips to Hershey Park. Ida prioritized family time, which is what truly meant the most to her. Especially during her favorite holiday, Christmas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Salvatore LaRocca.

Survivng are her loving husband, Lewie Babbitt, her dear son, Nicholas Babbitt, her mother, Nicoletta LaRocca, three brothers, Vincent LaRocca, Joseph LaRocca Richard LaRocca, her in- laws, Don and Vicki Babbitt, Jason and Shanda Babbitt, and Sandra and Greg Gelato and her nieces, Antonina, Krista, Meghan, Hannah, Sydney, Julia, Serafina, and Brianna, and two nephews, Dean and Andrew.

Friends and family are to gather at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, December 29, 2025 for a funeral mass beginning at 10am. Burial to follow at Peapack Union Cemetery in Gladstone, NJ.
