Henry Pernini, 68, of Dunellen, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at RWJ, New Brunswick. Born in Somerville, NJ, Henry resided in Bound Brook, NJ for most of his early life before moving to Dunellen 42 years ago. Henry graduated from Bound Brook High School, Class of 1970. After graduating, Henry went on to work as a Pipe Fitter for over 35 years at numerous local manufacturing plants, mainly at Hercules, before completing his career at Merck in Rahway. Henry was a member of the Local Pipe Fitters Union #9 in Union, NJ. He was an avid auto racing fan. He enjoyed watching any shows related to auto racing, and read many books and magazines pertaining to such. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Pernini (2009). Surviving are his loving mother, Florence A. Altiere of Branchburg, NJ; a brother Larry and wife Karen of Branchburg, NJ; and two nieces, Dana and Lisa.
