Henry "Nick" T. Boyer , 78, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Raritan, he resided in Bridgewater for 46 years before moving to Flemington seven years ago. Mr. Boyer was an operator of heavy equipment for Local 825 in Springfield, for 45 years before retiring in 1990. Henry was an avid fisherman who loved the great outdoors and took joy in feeding the wild animals. He had a great love for flying helicopters and spending time with his wonderful family, especially his grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lorraine Mondeau Boyer in 2000, and two brothers, Richard and Fred. Surviving are his two cherished daughters, Bonnie Samuel and husband, Matthew and Tracy Fratesi and husband, Tom, all of Flemington, his beloved son, Nick, Jr. and wife, Kim of Toms River, his ten wonderful grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Nicholas, Justin, Gemma, Dalton, Paige, Cole, Kyle, and Lauren, his two dear brothers, John Hecht of Oregon and Howard Boyer and wife, Serafina of Bridgewater, his six cherished sisters, Dorothy Hartman, Catherine Fallet, and Helen Hartrum, all of Bridgewater, Shirley Felice of Branchburg, Jean Mundy of Pennsylvania, and Gloria Huesser of California and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 11:30 am with a visitation from 10:30 am until the time of service at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, New Jersey, 08876 (908) 526-7638. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
