Henry "Jimmy" Herschell Jr. Branchburg, NJ Henry James Herschell Jr., 61, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Henry resided in Menlo Park Terrace for 20 years and Neshanic Station for 15 years before finally moving to Branchburg 16 years ago. Henry worked as an electrician for Plesh Electric LLC for 10 years. Henry was a member of the American Legion #159 in Flemington, NJ. He was an avid camper and loved to fish and was a Jets and Mets fan. He loved to cook. Henry enjoyed taking annual camping trips to Canada and the Jersey Shore, especially Beach Haven LBI. He was the master at playing horseshoes. Henry had a great love for dogs especially his two Dachshund Viener and Schnitzle. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mary and Henry James Herschell Sr., two sisters, Regina Herschell and Rosemarie Mauceri and a brother John Herschell. Surviving are his companion of 16 years, Kathleen Taylor of Branchburg, NJ; two dear sisters, Emily Berg of Port Reading, NJ; Henrietta and husband Perry of New Egypt, NJ; and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 1pm. Committal is private. Memorial contributions may be made in Henry's memory to the charity of your choice.
